Verizon Mail generates Inbound Phone Calls. Lead Generation

Lead Generation, on the Phone can increase revenue by maybe 3 times.

Mail from Verizon promoted FIOS and their $99 3 service offer. Enclosed was a plastic card worth $5.00 at Burger King if it is Validated for those who make those inbound phone calls.

33% of callers buy roughly, across many campaigns that I have seen. Getting a potential customer on the phone is critical when selling high value or complex items.

The best of expensive Direct Postal Mail generates 2% of those contacted becoming customers. 0.5% is more common in my experience. Among those who call it can also be said in this way: Those Extra Phone Calls each have a 30 to 50 times  likelihood of purchase. How many calls per 1000 mailed will determine how well the campaign does.

The $5 Burger King Card gets validated only when one calls Verizon to be sold to.

Were I the creator at Verizon, Changes would include:
- Sell the value of the Phone Call, the Conversation
- McDonalds has a broader appeal.
- A Check Voucher might be Broader still.
- Split Run many elements including $5 and $10 cards
- Include 8 pages plus the 1 page letter. That is we would add Full Content. What I received was one page and the card. Full Content is normally 4 to 8 pages with the full Sales Pitch.

What experiences do you have generating In-bound Phone Calls.
